Crime rate in Vic Street has been rising tremendously over the past few months
and most cases are on Car Vandalism.

In addition that I've received uncountable number of complains about this issue,
therefore this blog is created to inform and alert our neighbours
in order to bring awareness on how to prevent car vandalism
so as to minimize any unnecessary damage and inconvenience.

Recently, I have received an email from Jon Yen living in Block 3 ,
who witnessed a car vandalism incident at Block 10 level 3 multi story.

Car Vandalism is not something that cannot be prevented,
here's a few tips prevent vandalism in the car parks.

- Always park your car in a well-lit area and ensure that
the car park lights are in working condition

- Push the side mirrors towards the door as well as
to put the car antennae down as to prevent unwanted attraction

- Install a car alarm in your car

- Develop a Neighborhood Watch system.

Most importantly,
Report all cases of vandalism to the police.

but always keep this in mind,
Low Crime Does Not Mean No Crime,
